This summer has been very boring but I gotta say alot has happened to me….I mean alot…….in some kind of way I feel like it’s been a really great experience I feel like I’ve grown up even though I still act like a kid sometimes LOL but mentally I feel like I’ve learned alot and I can’t say my whole summer was boring cuz it wasn’t I did a couple of fun stuff but I spent alot of time with my cousin(Joel) he is really fun I love him alot you can say we pretty close for being cousins but other than that nothing is really new so if anyone reads this which I doubt cuz no one be coming on here anymore but if anyone does write back.

This year is coming to an end. Burdick has been a grreat experience for me I personally thought this would be a boring school and even though nothing really exciting happens around here theres a real calm atmosphere and I really enjoy it everybody is nice and all the teachers are very good techers. I learned alot education wise and I made alot of friends I’m really gonna miss Mr.Skonecki and Ms.Mattson especially Mr.Skonecki’s jokes he was a really good techer in my opinion and so was Ms.Mattson. I’m also gonna miss all my friends hopefully we all keep in touch.

Weekend

Oh my gosh this weekend was so fun. On friday I went to the dance I thought it would be boring but it was fun as ever I danced a little bit but it was cool just to hang out with my friends and be able to talk without getting in trouble. On saturday I went to the mall(Gurnee Mills) and I got my graduation dress, my shoes and I got a ipod I’m so happy I’ve been wanting one there so cool but me and my mom were up all night trying to figure out how to download songs and everything it’s alot more complicated than it looks. Then on Sunday my best friend came over my house we hung and talked. Then at 6:00pm I had to go to church it was a really fun weekend I’m still sick but I’m getting better!

Looking in the mirror, What do I see?? I see someone who once had fear, fear of acceptance fear of appearance. Someone who never believed in herself, Someone who was ashamed of looking in the mirror cause of what she might see. Someone who wanted to be free. Free of feeling this way, free of believing what people would say. When I looked in the mirror I would hang my head down in shame and walk away. Wishing I was pretty. Asking why did I look this way. Now when I look in the mirror I see someone who over came what people said. Someone who doesn’t have anymore fear, Someone who is happy with herself. Realizing a mirror can’t define who I am only I can. Now everyday when I look in the mirror I smile and walkaway!

FootPrints

One Night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene,he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him,he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.”Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most toublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.” The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During the times of trail and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”
